Privacy notice
This is a plain-language summary of how information is handled inside FYSS. It is a starting point, not a completed legal notice — your organisation's own wording, data controller details and lawful bases should replace it before publication.
Information held in FYSS
FYSS holds the operational records a supported living provider needs: details of Young People in placement, staff records, property information, daily recording, incidents, risk assessments and uploaded documents.
Who can see it
Access is role-based. Staff see the Young People and property they are assigned to. Administrators see their own organisation. Records are never shared between organisations.
Audit history
Entries record who made them and when. Later amendments are kept alongside the original rather than replacing it, so the history of a record can be reviewed.
Retention
Your organisation remains the data controller and sets retention periods for records in line with its own policies and regulatory duties.
